Came into this shop the other day. Purchased a small packet of potato chips $2.50 and a 2 litre bottle of lite milk. Total $8.00! I may be a new resident to Timaru, and live local. I sure won't be coming back to this shop. Grubby shop, boxes on the floor. The person serving behind the counter looked like he wanted to be somewhere else. Also he could learn a few social skills when dealing with customers.
Absolutely disgusting store!!!!!! The butter is rotting and molding in the cabinet!!! It's off and expired. We have bought Nutella there and opened it to find mold. We have bought cider that was 2 years expired! Honestly it's cheap and just the owners saving money by buying stock that's cheap to get in. When are they going to get better standards to keep up with there competitors??? The freezer is full if sticky sauce has been for ages! If we go in and see it again next time in in there I'm calling the health authorities and informing them. Oh!! And let us not forget the hot pies my husband bought that were ROCK SOLID and he couldn't cut into. Get your bloody standards up to scratch!! Your store is a bloody disgrace
Thought this place was a dairy but no jokes it's a whole dam supermarket. Everything you could ever need like a vege section, health and beauty products, dairy, deli and of course Watties Tomato sauce. All with nice, friendly staff manning the counter. Also they do pretty mean hot food till about 1:30pm. Prices can be pretty meh but hey, you're paying for the convenience right?
They have an incredible selection of a vast amount of products, especially candy that you cannot get anywhere else in timaru. Their selection of teas is great and energy drink selection is well above par also. Clean, tidy and well designed and stocked, highly recommended for the sweet and sour fix!
A great variety of food
Generally OK. Can get what you need at a sometimes hefty price. Xmas eve, 2 small tomatoes $6.80??? Hot pies are often microwaved & not hot in the middle, stock sitting on the floor all over the show, the owners seem lovely but need to look at hiring extra help as having children in a work place is both unsafe & unprofessional.
Great local neighbourhood mini mart with a wide range of goods, Lotto kiosk and hot foods. Their Indian curry dishes with fresh Naan breads are very tasty!
Great selection of meals. They serve barista coffee; great coffee. They also have a selection of milkshakes. The food is always tasty and delecious and I can see why the place is always busy when I go.
Good dairy to go to, to get essentials
Had Indian takaways. Food was cold. The chicken in the butter chicken and chicken Tika was almost non existent with largest bits smaller than your thumbnail.
