Story

Our passion for merino wool and hand made products has undoubtedly contributed to the rise of the Chunky Knit Merino revolution. Based in New Zealand where the quality of the merino wool is arguably the best in the world; we hand make all of our products which is a rarity in this automated world we live in. Our artesian culture at MOOSH allows us to put love and attention into each Chunky Knit Merino product we make. The merino wool that we use is called roving; un-spun and un-felted wool dyed in an array of natural and in vogue colours. The wools density and un-spun texture gives it amazing fullness and softness, arguably the best raw material to make textiled home ware products from e.g. Chunky Knit Merino throws, Chunky Knit Merino blankets, Chunky Knit Merino baby blankets, Chunky Knit Merino pet beds and much more. In recent time MOOSH has been focusing on the infant and baby market bringing to life the MOOSH Snuggle, a Chunky Knit Merino baby blanket in “girly pink” and “boy blue” to accent and style any baby’s bedroom.
