MUST STAY! WOW! Rob and Lionel are the absolute nicest and greatest hosts! When you arrive, they have a sign with your name on it welcoming you. I loved this touch! The rooms are big, clean, and luxurious. The bed is one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on! The robes are so comfortable. Rob and Lionel plant the most beautiful plants around the hotel. The whole hotel is stunning! This hotel is an absolute must stay! Lionel cooks a phenomenal breakfast! My wife and I will be back! Thank you so much Rob and Lionel for hosting us!
Definitely the best B&B we stayed at during our 1 month trip in NZ. Rob and Lionel are the best and they really thought of everything. From the welcome drink, all the good tips, de spacious and luxurious room, the excellent breakfast all the way to the departure: everything was perfect!
When we arrived on 22 Feb 2024, two free-roaming dogs jumped towards us. Since I am very afraid of dogs, I asked Rob to bring the dogs into the house. Rob replied that we could leave right away, the dogs would remain free. We were forced to get out despite the dogs running around us all the time during check-in, even though I was extremely scared. He didn't take the fear seriously and said again that we couldn't stay here. It was horrible, a nightmare. Never again
Rob and Lionel were fantastic hosts, our room was spacious, always clean and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was bountiful and tasty every morning. We run out of superlatives for this place.
Wow wow wow, what a great place to be!!! The hosts, the garden, the main house and not to forget the cottage; they are all wonderful!nThe hosts are very friendly and they know the meaning of hospitality. The cottage is very well equipped. Everything you need and want is in it. There is also an nice terras, where you can relax, enjoying your stay, listening to the birds or having your breakfast. A marvellous place to be and strongly recommended!!
