Great walk, easy track to follow. Totara is just a few hundred metres from the road and very simple track to start with. Gets quite steep but the track is well maintained.nThere was still snow on the top when I was there so a trickle of water that made the track a little muddy.
Amazing 360° view. Just 1hr up to the peak. About 30% of rocky path but not difficult.
The trail to the peak 1hr one way, steeper end has a stunning 360 deg view.
Rocky trail with great views over the peninsula. Only 5-10 minutes to the big toatara tree.
Beautiful scenic views from up here.
