Needs care and attention. Building's rooms are rented out by various organisations for dance classes and other community group Needs but it's very rundown and dated inside and out. Somewhat of a white elephant of a place.
Great building hope they keep the art
A place with history, however the owners are in US and here nobody bothers to look after the building. Is falling apart piece by piece and if you want to rent a space they take their hands off saying " as is" and obviously insurance is not covering anything. Shame
Easy access from different sides of the building. Good number of activities.
Sadly a lovely old building that was once a polytechnic institute. Gone a bit to ruin, and a part of the lovely old fence still in ruins over a year later. Lack of care and or responsibility, this gorgeous old building and it's fencing should be fixed up and restored. Especially the fence that was damaged over a year ago . Shameful really. Where has care and pride gone :
A lot of my disabled clients attend day programmes that are run within these walls and make their lives much more enjoyable when attending.
An historic building, iconic to Dunedin. Colin McCahon, prominent New Zealand artist, studied here. This building was once home to the future Otago Polytechnic. Studio spaces are now rented in the building.
Bennett's Ballet classes are held here which is a suitable venue for the dance studio's.
Great space for a variety of groups and activities
