"We are an amazing preschool located in Stanmore Bay, Whangaparaoa. We bring our unique perspective by interweaving Te Whariki the National Early Childhood Curriculum with the Montessori approach.Compared to some centres we are very small - we have 30 children ranging from 2 to 6.We are in a converted house which has the benefits of having a playground with fruit trees and room for children to play and interact with the world around them."

We can't emphasize enough how pleased, happy and grateful we are for having our kids at the Montessori Beginnings Preschool . All the teachers always have been really welcoming to our little ones and us as a family. The level of care, teaching and relationship has been over our expectations. Our daughter attends Monti and has done for almost 1.5 years. The teachers are incredible, they genuinely care about each child. Our values align and we work together with Katie and her team to work through any 'phases' our daughter goes through. This has meant we can align both at home and at daycare. They were also incredible when we were toilet training - once again we were able to maintain consistency both at daycare and at home. The activities they provide are practical and allow the kids to figure things out for themselves. We really like the Montessori philosophy. We feel so lucky to have our daughter at Monti. I cannot recommend it enough.
Montessori Beginnings is a great preschool! Our son who is now in school and our little girl have both attended there. They are very attentive to children and know them well. Teachers are dedicated and care deeply. It is clean and tidy, and well managed!
Katie and the team at Montessori are the best! Our daughter thrived and grew in leaps and bounds while she was there. We are sad to say goodbye now we've started school. Highly recommend Montessori Beginnings as they help prepare children for school and provide lots of care and support to the families.
I can’t express enough how amazing Katie and the team at Monty are! We love them and feel like part of a family at this centre! Both our kids have gone there and they do an amazing job of settling the kids and making sure that parents needs are met as well! We love Monty so much and definitely recommend them for childcare needs!

We absolutely love Montessori Beginnings. After a lot of research we chose Montessori Beginnings and I couldn’t be happier with our choice. Our son adores his days there. It feels like dropping him off with family. It’s a lovely small centre and the teachers genuinely care about the children. I would recommend Montessori beginnings over and over! Absolutely amazing. My granddaughter started Montessori roughly 2 years ago and she has changed in so many ways, her vocabulary has amazed myself and my family. She wants to be at school everyday. My granddaughter is now 3 and is very independent. Thank you so much to all of her wonderful teachers I highly recommend.
Katie, the owner of the kindy, is exceptionally friendly and professional. She is always accessible and approachable, ready to assist and guide you and your child at any time. Her dedication to helping and supporting others is truly remarkable. Moreover, Katie ensures that her kindy remains engaging and interesting for kids. There is always something happening to keep them occupied and enhance their socializing skills. The environment is clean, warm, and filled with fun activities. It is truly a place that I adore.
If you are looking for a centre that is truly an extension of your family I can not recommended Montessori Beginings highly enough. All the teachers are amazing and my children have thrived at this centre. My home away from home!
