Sammy and Moana Waters Fishing Charter
Raised in Western Australia, Sammy had a dream to go to the mighty Lake Taupo and fly fish with her Koro (Grandfather) and land one of the lake’s famous fighting Rainbow Trout.
Coming from a family of famous fishermen – and women many in the word of freshwater fishing know her Koro Wallace and Uncle Tom Marama (Honeybun – one of the Taupo regulars that made up the infamous picket fence). These well know local identities have landed more trout than you could poke a stick at!
Sammy’s desire was to follow in her ancestors footsteps and become a professional ‘fishing guide’ and give others the wonderful and exhilarating experience of hooking and landing one of these mighty Taupo Rainbow’s.
Over the last summer Sammy has enjoyed taking many people out on the lake and has enjoyed seeing people from as far away as Western Australia, London and North Carolina enjoy this wonderful pastime with great results (trout for dinner)!
So with these results, that's when Sammy decided that she wanted to share her passion for fishing, with all of you!
