MK Equitation is run by Madison Munro, specialising in the preparation of horses/ponies for the showring, lessons on plaitting and show prep, and also ridden lessons which are easy to understand and great for kids.
MK Equitation is run by mother/daughter duo Kim and Madison Munro based in North Canterbury.
We specialise in the breaking and schooling of ponies and horses, show prep (including plaitting) and lessons.
Horses are in the blood for Kim and Madison. Kim was eager to make horses a family venture and a first pony was bought for Madison at age three. Not knowing a thing about competing we slowly but surely found our way, and since then have accomplished great things. Madison has gained national dressage titles as well as showing titles, and more recently competed for New Zealand at the SHCA Grand Nationals held at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre, where she gained a top ten placing in the rider 17 - 21.
Madison has spent time in Australia working for some of the countries best riders, and preparing some top show horses for the ring at some of Australia's largest horse shows including Grand Nationals and Sydney Royal.
Madison has placed Runner up in the 17 - 21 rider at the Northern New South Wales Hack Champs, qualifying her to ride at Grand Nationals 2018.
