Story

Miranda and Marc opened MIXT in February 2004. MIXT stocks contemporary New Zealand made design, jewellery and gifts. MIXT also offers affordable and stylish lighting and homewares. We only sell products made in New Zealand!
We are always looking at ways we can keep MIXT up-to-date and interesting for our customers. We already produce some of our own lines and intend to develop this side of the business. We are keen to source more contemporary NZ made items and are always looking for new designers and ranges that will suit our store.

A nice little store with stuff made in New Zealand. We were looking for lotions and hand washes with Manuka Honey and Lanolin, but this store carries ceramics and little felt bags and soaps. The owner is very helpful and friendly. I ended up purchasing a felt bag handmade and a ceramic heart for a friend.
Such lovely little store had a friend Rave about it for sometime and finally had the chance to pop in…. The lady working there today 18.06.2023 was so warm and welcoming even being busy!…. They have great selection of gift/decor items for one’s home…. I fully recommend popping instore.. you’ll for sure leave with something special

I love visiting this shop, everything in NZ made and they source the most amazing products. There are some really talented creative people making beautiful, practical, special products and Mixt showcases them beautifully. Lovely staff and the owners also work in the store so it feels personal and they are very helpful and knowledgeable about the products and the people who make them.
