Quiet for a Saturday afternoon - stocked with most supplies and materials any DIY enthusiast or Tradie might need to get a job done the right way. Check out was friendly and supportive. Parking available with a coffee shop onsite.
Very organised and neat store. It's not huge like the Mega10, which is good as well as I could find what I'm after very quickly.nVisit now for the opening deals, there are quite a number of items on specials!nThe garden area is not big but very clean, worth a quick stroll.nPop into the cafe for food and drinks, it's great and deserves our support.
Brought my own key blank and master, asked staff to cut the blank against the master. Got declined service with “yes we do key cutting, but it would be too hard to process, as we have our own blanks, try in the Plaza”.nDespite offering to pay for labour cutting charges and THEIR blank.nnSounds either lazy or discriminatory service to me.nWon’t be shopping in this Mitre 10 again.
Huge hardware store adjacent to Whangaparaoa Plaza. Plenty of products on offer... though I had a little trouble finding what I was looking for. Staff were scarce as hen's teeth and when I finally saw one passing-by, they weren't particularly interested in my plight I will return, as they are my local, however, they could up their game with service and assistance. The former information desk is now a checkout counter. Staff were not available due to the queue of customers.
A smaller version of the biggest stores, it still has quite a bit and is a great go to when you're in need of something urgently.nThe staff I have spoken to have been helpful with me. The prices are still the same as every other mitre 10.nThey have a bottom car park that is virtually empty all the time , a bit of shame they can't do something with it - because of high ceilings I'm surprised they don't operate to travelling holiday homes or the motorhome Association.nnBut overall, it's a good place to go to get your stuff that you need and you don't wanna travel all the way to Silverdale Bunnings .
