Hopeless trying to get a carpark....on a good day. Even around the back by garden centre. Go to Aeroview Garden centre instead if youre after plants etc, plenty of parking, cafe there also, thats a great place to go to
I recently had a disappointing experience in the gardening section at Mitre 10. After seeing the price guarantee online, I checked with a staff member in the gardening area, who confirmed that Mitre 10 honors competitor pricing. I showed her the Farmlands online specials, including the Tui Vegetable Mix 2 for $28 and Tui Seed Raising Mix $10. She was very helpful and went to the manager, who initially approved the deal after verifying the offer on my phone.nnHowever, when she asked if I was using a Farmlands Card, I mentioned that I planned to pay with my own debit card EFTPOS. At that point, she consulted a senior team member in the gardening section. A tall gentleman then approached and explained that the offer was only for Farmlands cardholders or account holders, meaning I didn’t qualify for the price guarantee.nnI decided to double-check with the Farmlands Ngatea branch, who confirmed that anyone can purchase and receive the advertised specials, even without a Farmlands card. I was able to buy the items I needed there. To illustrate the price difference, Mitre 10’s price for the same items was over $16 for one Vegetable Mix and more than $12 for the Seed Raising Mix.nnIt was disappointing that, despite advertising a price guarantee, the policy was not clearly understood or conveyed by the team. If the price guarantee only applies to certain competitors or conditions, it would be helpful to have that clarified on the website. I hope that, in the future, Mitre 10 can ensure clarity and consistency in their price matching policy and improve training for staff, so customers have a smoother experience. Thank you.

Waited at the desk for 15 minutes to be served in the bathroom area and was then told to see someone in the front counter for service. Person from the front counter then advised the part I needed was out of stock even though it was on the website as in stock.
