I called in near midday Monday morning & the place was pumping! Which was great to see in this economy! I needed to find timber to make slates for my new queen mattress & needed thicker than the usual bed slates they had, for the heavier mattress. So asked for some help in the timber area. John was fantastic! We talked about different options, he even draw some diagrams to help me understand what I could do. After some further looking at timbers we concluded that some beautiful fir feature D45 x 1.8m timber planks would be just what I wanted! John then cut them into the 1.5m lengths I needed. I took them home, light sand & wiped down & they fit my bed frame perfectly. I’m making bed rises out of the remaining pieces & will be back for more as it’s wonderful wood to work with. I am deeply grateful to John’s help & was great to see lots of customer interaction by other team members. Well done M10 Gate Pa!

Had a lovely trip to Mitre 10 with my husband while he was getting a few things he needed. The store had everything he was looking for, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a nice, easy shopping experience and will definitely be back again.
We travel NZ and find ourselves shopping at Mitre 10 MEGA stores everwhere. The Tauranga store is up there with the very best of them. I found the parking adequate, staff very polite and helpful. The selection of stock is vast, and although it is a very large store I found it easy to find the products I was looking for.... plus.. it is dog friendly!! ‍
Good customer service and friendly staff. Always helpful with suggestions when I am working on stuff. Today I went in and grabbed a few things for my guinea pigs. The hutch is awesome and the pet carrier is great too. Always a massive range for diy projects.
