It's strange to read all of these reviews about how wonderful the staff are. I mean yes, they are generally friendly people and have never been rude to me. But, nearly everytime I go there, staff are emboiled in personal conversations, like, often, like every visit there are one or two going on around the store. I have even tested whether they'll break from the conversation and walk within viewing range and stand aimlessly in some aisle looking unsure about the product range. I have done this for like 5 minutes just to see if they will break from the conversation and help me. Hope. Never. Too commited to their private yarn with other staff.nnI wonder, how is it possible that this is a common ocurrence for me but managers, owners, etc, dont' see what I see nearly every visit? How do people like this, seemlingly obvlious to these basis business functions required for succes, actually run successful businesses? One of the universes enduring mysteries, at least to me it is.
I spend a bit of time here. The whole team are consistently great. They know where products can be found or if they don't know are quick to find someone who does. That's quite something for a big team. I have always found what I'm looking for and can happily get home and start the next project. An easy recommended.

The worst of all mitre 10's. My business only uses mitre 10 and this store is consistently a let down with lack of materials, knowledge and incorrect orders
Ive been converted. Always shopped at Bunnings but having moved to Rangiora, ive started shopping here. Awesome service and helpful staff who know what they're talking about. Lots of options across all ranges so no matter what you're after, there's something for everyone and your budget.
