We just had a fantastic experience with Jeremy in the kitchen department at Mitre10 Nelson. He was friendly, helpful, and came up with some design ideas we hadn’t considered. He checked out prices on different configurations for us and at all times made us feel like valued customers. We had previously talked to the kitchen department at Bunnings Nelson, and had a totally different experience. The staff member there was uninterested, snarky, defensive if we wanted to make changes, and made us feel like we were taking up her precious time. We will be ordering from Mitre10, even though it will cost more, based solely on the experience we had with the staff at each store. And this goes for the staff in general…..they are so much friendlier and more helpful at Mitre10 than Bunnings. They obviously believe in staff training!
Great store. Lots of range. Can find most things with signage. The only downside is the toilets. There’s no air filtration or automatic room spray. Was not a very nice place to go when absolutely needed and the sign said it hadn’t been looked at since 6pm the day before ‍
I’m renovating my bathroom and with my list in hand from my builder, I walked in to Mitre10 thinking how the heck am I going to go about this. I went straight to the bathroom area with dread and help was right there. The sales assistant Judi was very knowledgeable on all products and she was easy to talk to. She enthusiastically talked me through vanities, showers, taps, toilets etc. I walked out with my brochures and a few samples happy and excited about my reno.
My favourite shopping destination! Love the staff. They're all very helpful especially the garden crew.
Big spacious well layed out.nHelpful safe who do give good advice.nAnd of course the coffee shop beside the garden centre is great and always part of my visit to Mitre 10.
