I went to the gardening department for some vegetable seedlings. They are very helpful and informative. So are other team members. Have great specials too.nI follow Wally Richards column in the Wednesday Blenheim Sun paper which can also be accessed online as it's organic products. Which Mitre 10 has started selling. When you're a Mitre 10 club member you can get privileges and discounts when you present your card.
Shirley was an absolute gem! My mum was very picky about getting the exact right plant pots and the customer service was above and beyond.nnShirley really put in the work to ensure we got exactly what we needed and searched high and low for the exact pots we were after.nnCouldn't rate the customer service higher.
Arrived at 7am as it said online and on the sign out front it was open from 7am to find salespeople arrived at 8.15. Many customers were waiting in the carpark. Come on Manager, either change your opening time or have a word with your staff to get out of bed earlier. Waste of customers time not to mention how inconvenient it is.
Food was delicious but this eatery was let down by the lack of coordination between staff, they were slow to clear dishes and clean tables.nWhen food chosen from cabinet the counter staff offered salad with your chosen food but never mentioned extra cost. The salad was minute and dressing was sparse and already added. There appeared to be no lack of the number of staff just a bit chaotic. Not a relaxing place to dine.
I usually really enjoy shopping at Marlborugh Mitre 10 Mega, but not so much last weekend. A general rule is for customers to be nice to staff - but on a few occasions recently check out staff have been anything but nice to customers. One even tried to scan a barcode on my medical inhaler in the trolley. Lol.
