Today was Kings Birthday. While the car park was almost full and there were lots of people inside it was still easy to get around. This store is very well stocked. Impressively so.
One truly positive experience as I was heading g to the Kitchen /joinery dept a lovely young man by the name of David approached me and with a warm smile to asking if I needed help which I accepted and when I had finished in the Kitchen area he took me ova to the tapware patiently explaining all the details etc Exceptional service wish more employees were like David 10/10
Passing through in a motorhome travelling with a small dog. Needed to get toilet chemicals so called Mitre10 to ask if they are dog friendly. Sadly not. Many other Mitre10 are. However Tammy was helpful and offered to get another staff member to bring the chemical to the customer service desk where I could pick it up, taking my small dog in while carrying her as she’s never left alone in the motorhome. Would be good if you can review your dog policy to allow small dogs that’s in a trolley into all stores as we’ve been in many others across the country after getting permission. Sadly I did not shop for the rest of the items I needed and will wait until we get to a Bunnings as they all are dog friendly.
Good selection for summer planting in the gardening department. Often do quick click and collect which is easy peasy. I have to say that Mega mitre 10 is still one of my favourite places to shop.nPicked up some great magnolia trees which is blooming now!! and rhododendrons at a very good price. The key is to drop by frequently to check out the specials tables and everyday savings!!nLoads of specials in store this Jan 25, tree 'Leptospermum Jubilee' on special 17th Jan when i was there down from $21.59 to TEN Bucks. Quick grower and pretty double pink flowers.
Went to mitre 10 invercargill yesterday to buy Blackstone bbq, the model we wanted was out of stock asked at front desk, dealt with two ladies,could not have been more helpful, one was Tammy, don't know the other girl's name, they tried everything possible to find one in other branches around nz, in the end we left with all options exhausted, but these two went above and beyond all our expectations!!nA breath of fresh air, thank you
