I had such a pleasant shopping experience at Mitre 10 Cambridge today. A young man called Millen was so incredibly helpful and patiently took me up and down all the isles to help me with my DIY project and then I get to the check out and Huleen and Shannon are just so friendly and chatty. It’s lovely walking out, having achieved all I walked in for with the help of the most friendly staff. Well done and thank you!!!
The product range is extensive, and of a high quality with established, recognised brands that encourage confidence. The products are adeptly supported by well informed, experienced customer-centric staff. Pricing is highly competitive with 'specials' a regular feature of the business.
Excellent service and very friendly and professional staff. The items I was after were not on stock in both Hamilton stores so I went all the way to Cambridge. The short drive was worthy it. Very friendly staff who were ready to assist the customer. And plenty stocks available. Not a very big store in size and has all you need. Very neatly presented and nice cafe and garden area to visuat even if you are not there to buy anything. Parking spaces avaialble at store front.
Hi TonynWe came paid for our vanity after receiving phone text saying it had Arrived. We got sent to inwards goods around 2.30pm on 21st Feb 2026. No one there, all locked up.nnWe had taken old vanity off so need it to fit it today. Unfortunately now we can’t. Our whole experience was negative and disappointing and expected better.nnSome other staff helped us to get our goods But unbeknown to them there was forklift damage and the damage to our vanity was not good ! Some careless treatment of our product. We have just wasted an afternoon. And we thought we also ordered a sink plug system but this wasn’t with the vanity top.nnPlease ensure this does not happen to anyone else or us if we ever buy anything like this from you again.nnVery poor customer serviceservice from inwards goods at Cambridge store.
As a local I am consistently in and out of Mitre10. I have never had a negative experience, and always found what I need. Today was no exception. Whilst looking bewildered, Millen came to my rescue unprompted and was fantastic! Then was followed by Ailene's exceptional service at purchase and I left with lightbulbs and a huge smile!
