DISASTER... DO NOT USE THIS ELECTRICIAN Today Mitch Bateman came to my house to complete a simple electrical job to fit lounge light with dimmer and move light in dining room and fit new light with dimmer. Initially he told me to change my LED dimmer bulbs as they didnt work properly with dimmer switches so i made special trip to exchange original bulbs. He came into my house today and appeared rude like we were an inconvenience. It seemed like a late Friday appointmemt he was trying to rush do he could get off early. In summary this guy broke my new light shade yet spoke to me like it was my fault. My husband had to fetch another duplicate shade and pay a further £40. During this time Mr Bateman advised me he was walking off the job leaving me with an incomplete dining room light fitting, plus a hole in my ceiling where he had moved fitting and not filled. Then i noticed no dimmer switches and on questioning him he said he couldnt get them to work so left it. So in summary if you want your new light fittings to be broken, holes left in your ceiling, dimmers not fitted, electrician to walk off the job, if you like being spoken to rudely oh yes and if love having to pay for another light shade you havent broke then this is the tradedmam for you. If not i suggest you steer well clear and get an electrician who you can trust and is actually fully qualified!!!! From a fuming out of pocket customer?!!!!!
