MHJC has a clean environment and high quality facilities. This school helps students gain new set of skills and have many opportunities your child can participate on. I have made a lot of friends and learning the ways of Mission heights Junior College. Although some teachers are great at teaching, some are very strict and doesn't teach the subject right. I hope there was more diverse events and that adding new facilities.
Love this MASSIVE school. Everyone here is so fun and there are LOW signs of bullying Which is TAPER!!! slang for awsome. I am very sad to FADE from this school but I hope anyone coming here are chill guys fr!! Teachers are all sigmas with smiles on their faces and ready to help at any time. 10/10 school
When i first started MHJC in year 7, i found it abit repetitive because I was more closed off, students were genuinely kind and respectful, majority teachers were patient and understanding towards others. The more I grew and open up to others, the more school became a warm and welcoming place! I'm glad that I went to mhjc, and made long lasting friends and relationships, I'm happy with all the memories i made here and i hope others can have the best experience they can have here to!
I have been in this school for 3 years and my experience was great. Teachers are great and supportive. The students here are cool and fun. The school is very clean and tidy. The teachers are good at teaching, only option classes dont really do much teaching. Overall this school is a great school and would recommend it. I met many cool people and an ugly BlobfishReihana Rahimi and other cool people like JAIRA&VISHWANI
I have been to mhjc for two years of my life year 9 and 10 and what I can say from my experience throughout my school days here is that this school is not a good school to send your child here I was in coast whanau and there are many things wrong with this school firstly the money budget at this school is so cheap the buildings and its tools are breaking down the schools drinking fountains are molding and disgusting and there was also a rat infestation where rats would fall down on you while you worked no jokennthis school is money hungry and is always wanting your money by holding fundraisers and selling stuff but what for? the school is keeping the money to themselves and isn't using it for the students, recently at our whanaus end of year trip this year 2024 we went to the pools but no one wanted to go there last year 2023 the students were giving a form to fill out and vote on what they wanted to do for the trip but this year the teachers picked it and it was cheap as swimming pool that we went to as well as on a boring walk and free play the whanaus furniture and equipment is so cheap the wheels of the chairs are breaking off everyday and everything is wrecked and ugly.nnSecondly the teachers here at this school don't know how to teach sure there are some good teachers but I can proudly say that many of them are terrible at teaching students half of the time most of the teachers are just teaching off slides created 10 years ago and is the most boring things you'll learn and don't know how to use their brain and teach us students more engaging and interesting. You should not send your child here as they will learn barely anything here at this school and send them to either Botany or Ormistion as they are a much better school than mhjc. Another thing is the schools rules and system is probably one of the worst i've ever seen the deep system here will teach you nothing, coming from experience in different deeps the teachers do not teach you anything in the classes i was in a deep called ufo and you will learn nothing and will be bored for the entire hour as all we did was watch a long boring 40 minute video and listen to the most boring teacher ever this is a huge thing to think about when sending your child here do you really want to send them to a school where they learn nothing. This is for you asian parents you should not send your child here as they learn nothing here compare to other schools. I almost forgot to say this school is very unfair and is very biased among the students an example of this is that when i got into the deep i wanted for the past terms i finally got into it after so many times picking it and after i was in the deep once, the next week i was moved and kicked out of the deep that i liked and moved to a lame deep, i went and complained to my learning adviser and they were no help and straight up did nothing i then asked the admin if they could switch me but they said no and said the deep was too full even though i was there first, later i asked a friend who was in the deep that i got moved from and said after i got moved so many students joined so unfair if you were ever to send your child here be prepared for the downfalls here. last thing i will say is that all whanaus are different forest is a crazy smelly whanau and is ruled over by a teacher whos very veru strict coast is a chill whanau but is the poorest in the school compare to the other whanaus mountains is a rich but strict whanau and water is strict with its learning. The very last thing i will say is that i am homophobic and this school supports lgbtq
