My time at Mission Heights Junior College was marked by several challenges that I believe future students and parents should be aware of. In several instances, it felt like educators were not fully invested in the students' progress, leading to a sense of disconnect between students and faculty. This impacted the overall quality of instruction and hindered the learning experiencenAnother issue was the limited extracurricular opportunities. Despite the initial promises of a diverse range of activities, the reality fell short of expectations. This lack of variety left students with fewer options for personal growth and exploration outside the standard curriculum. Moreover, the school's infrastructure was outdated, particularly This not only affected the overall aesthetics but also hindered practical aspects of daily school life. It's important to approach Mission Heights Junior College with realistic expectations. While there are undoubtedly positive aspects, these challenges were significant factors in my decision to seek a more conducive learning environment elsewhere. and theres alot of the vapings and guns and weed and coke and all the drugs ive done these becuase of pree peasruring rn im in hosptial becuase im very sick becasuee of these drugs dont ever come here it ruins your life forever.
The experiences I've had with the school was great. The school offers a vast number of new and unique opportunities for the kids and is a great school for in class and out of class learning. My child was able to go on 5 different camps in 2 years. Most teachers are amazing and really help the kids learn, but my child did say that there were a few teachers that didn't involve themselves with the students and their learning and were rude to kids when they were unsure about something. overall the school is a great place to send your kids.
writing this with a fake name:ni graduated mhjc in 2022 and spent 4 years there. i noticed that the teachers have favorite students which can affect how other kids learn, the teachers dont teach well they put videos of how to do it on google classroom but never actually properly explain what needs to be done I have bad dyslexia and got testing done for it but when i went to ask for my results they said no i couldnt have them even though i took the test to provide a school with an updated test result.nnThe drama at mhjc is never ending. girls who think theyre the best and force addictions on you. The amount of times i have seen girls being forced to vape including me was too much. I witnessed a group of people smoking weed at lunch time almost every day and making bongs and asking for help from me to make them one.nnI used to turn up to school in absolute tears because i was scared of getting bullied even more, the teachers did absolute nothing for the bullying people went through, if not they only made it worse. it got to the point where i was so self consious to eat food at school, i didnt because i wouldnt get bullied for eating then.nnbe careful about sending your child to mission heights junior college. i really wish i had never gone.
