Started the morning with a sunrise SUP lesson and it was nothing short of magical. Watching the Mission Bay sunrise, the warmth and manaaki of our instructors, getting out on the water, and a refreshing dip to fully wake us up. It was such a dreamy experience. Highly recommend :
Great experience. Gear is all you need for a splash around in the marked area, which has the golden beach and amazing views of Rangitoto. Half or full hour hire which is handy.
Super experience there. The guide was super friendly and took time to explain the basics of kayaking while offering several itinerary for 1 hour rental! It was a very fun time and would recommend.
Thoroughly enjoyed my private SUP lesson with Mission Bay Water Sports. A quick 10min run through of the basics on the beach then into the water. The instructor was great, good coaching and good conversation. The location is hard to beat. Highly recommended.
Had an awesome time paddling around Mission Bay in a double kayak, on a beautiful day. Staff are super helpful, and gave us some great kayaking tips and safety info. Spent an hour paddling around enjoying the beautiful scenery of Mission Bay and nearby Rangitoto volcano. Highly recommended.
Mission Bay is one of the best beaches I've ever visited.
Went with 2 friends from work to try paddleboarding. About to turn 62, and the ladies in their mid 40s.. Absolute great fun on and IN the water. Everything was in our favour. Weather, smooth water, fun attitude and Sarah the instructor is a diamond. Friendly, patient, clear and concise with instructions and onshore demonstration. Give this a go. Thank you for the memories and will see you again.
I've been using this rental shop over 2 years, and I brought my friends here to have some SUP experience today. The staff are friendly and nice as usual, they give some instruction before start paddling up. My friends really enjoyed today, I wish they have another store at Milford as well so I can introduce other friends. Happy to visit again.
Kayak was a great experience! The lady that guided us how to paddle, how to put on the jackets, etc. was very friendly and polite. However, it’s a shame that the young gentleman at the end of the shift was quite impolite! He even kicked the kayak as an indication to stop without proper verbal communication while my wife was carrying the kayak with me. She even feels the pain in the arm! That was not kiwi in anyways!
We did the SUP hire and it was so much fun being our first time. The team there are super friendly and the instructor at the start was really good at explaining. Great fun . Good vibes
