First visit and loved it straight away. More of a Love at First Sight kinda feeling. I had been there on a weekend. Lots of people. It's obvious that the kiwis do love to come out of their houses during the weekend. Undoubtedly clean. It was recommended by a Filipino friend of mine. It's not just about the views of the beach but there are many restaurants and eateries nearby and obviously it's one of those places where you can find a lot of people, especially on the weekends. The temperature here kinda settles in the evening. Good for a quick walk, job for fitness enthusiasts. It has a huge coastline.
Very crowded for holiday weekend. But fountain, playground, green space, and beach are all in close proximity to keep an eye on children with varied interests. Female bathrooms have three stalls and one bench so very difficult to change without getting clothes dirty or wet due to lack of places to put extra clothes .
Beautiful, depends on the weather though like most beaches and the clarity of the sea that day! The restaurants, ice cream shops and that are pretty and a bit glamorous here as well! Feels a bit glitzy glam but still humble.
My kids love to spend time here. Play at the beach and playground
Mission Bay Beach is truly a gem with its stunning backdrop of Rangitoto Island. The beauty of the beach is simply breathtaking, and the view adds a touch of magic. What's even more fantastic is the abundance of open establishments on Christmas Day, making it convenient for visitors. The combination of the picturesque scenery and the availability of services creates an amazing experience, turning Mission Bay into a must-visit destination.
