Hello and welcome to my wee world of creativity and experimentation.
I’m super excited to share this journey with you and can’t wait to see how it progresses and where it may lead someday.

For those of you who don’t personally know me, the name ‘Miss Olivia’ is a result of me being a dance teacher over the last few years. The name just seemed to stick and now I have many friends and family calling me by it.

In 2015 I completed my Diploma of Interior Design but with a strong passion for dance I still wasn’t sure what direction I wanted to head in. After working as a Resene colour specialist for over a year and now currently teaching dance full time I developed the urge to continue expressing my imagination and creativity through artwork.

So here we are… I hope you enjoy my creations as much as I enjoy creating them!

Reason: With a buffet opening and meal time of approx. 90 minutes, a high number of guests and the limited space - also due to the lack of signs of the queuing points/direction - leads to violent chaos; the guests stormed the buffet both from the right and from the left, in between ruthless "career changers" constantly squeezed according to the motto "I just want to ..." ff.. Hervorragend gelöst! Qualität und Quantität des Buffets waren absolut angemessen, die Getränkepreise wie bei solchen Gelegenheiten allgemein üblich leicht überzogen. In der Summe eine perfekt gelungene Veranstaltung, Respekt und chapeau, Herr Backens!!! Allerdings war leider etwas mehr als nur ein winziger Wermutstropfen die Organisation des zeitgleichen Vorspeisen- und Hauptgerichtsbuffets für schätzungsweise zwischen 400 und 450 Gästen. Begründung: Bei einer Buffetöffnungs- und Essenszeit von ca. 90 Minuten führt eine hohe Gästeanzahl und der beschränkte Raum -auch mangels Beschilderung der Anstehpunkte/-Richtung zu einem heftigen Chaos; die Gäste stürmten das Buffet sowohl von rechts als auch von links, dazwischen quetschen sich ständig rücksichtslose "Quereinsteiger" nach dem Motto "ich will nur gerade Mal eben an ..." ff.. Dies führte zwangsläufig zu Aggressionen, Beschimpfungen u.ä. bis kurz vor Tumulten. Bei etwas zurückhaltenderen bzw. gesitteteren Charakteren hatte dies zwangsläufig zumindest eine nicht unerhebliche Eintrübung der Genussfreude und Feierlaune zur Folge. Äußerst Schade!! Zur Vermeidung solch unschöner Erlebnisse in Zeiten der zunehmenden Egozentik und Verrohung der Gesellschaft sollte für die Zukunft nach realisierbaren Lösungsmöglichkeiten gesucht werden. M.E. denkbar wären bspw. getrennte Buffetzeiten für Vorspeise und Hauptgericht, verlängerte Buffet- und Essenszeiten, eindeutig gekennzeichnete Anstehpunkte "please queue here" und -Richtungen, zeitlich getrennte Buffeteröffnung für bestimmte Tische oder Tischgruppen o.ä. Ansonsten mit Dankbarkeit bis zum nächsten Jahreswechsel
