Not bad food, could be a lot better. Luke warm. I've ordered a delivery from them on 2 separate occasions and both time's had to wait. This time me and my wife ordered a delivery at 3:30pm nice and early. They took the menu details but there was no delivery driver. Didn't get food until 7pm. I could of bought the ingredients from the co op and made my own curry. I hope they get better, it's a shame the food isn't too bad but I don't think we'll be ordering anything from them again.
Had a take away whilst staying in a nearby holiday cottage with friends. Worse curry I've ever had. All the dishes had the same odd creamy watery base sauce which was bland and tasteless. Real shame as we were looking forward to a good curry. Not sure if this is usual standard of food, as surprised this restaurant gets any good reviews for food like we had.
Just had a delivery on the 5th may was told at point of ordering it would be here by 20:00 was nearly an hr late. The starters we ordered were tiny they were barely a mouthful and missed off the dips from the order for the popadoms. But the curry’s had a good flavour so will give them a second chance at some point. I won’t be in a rush though which is a shame as this is my local take away.
I recently ordered from Mirchi for my birthday. After 2 hours waiting I called to see where my food was, to be told no orders were waiting. After repeating my order number to them, the lady on the phone said, Oh, 5 minutes and hung up. Food arrived 20 minutes later, stone cold and congealed fat on the dishes. Half inedible even after reheating. £30 curry for my birthday, ended up in the bin and I had no food to eat. Complained and had all my complaints iland request for a refund ignored. So im writing as at the very least, deal with your errors, dont charge the customers for your mistakes. I was a regular customer, but id rather drive to somewhere with customer care.
Love this place. The best Indain restaurant in the area. In the oast 6 years I don't think I could find anything to complain about.Food: 5/5
Absolutly awful Tikka Biryani take away last night it went straight in the bin, 6 small, thin cubed pieces of what was supposed to be chicken it was dry and so overcooked and un reconisable as chicken ? Completely tasteless and a chef's meat curry that we couldn't find any meat in. Such a shame as we had a fantastic meal last year there, needless to say I will not be recommending or returning.
Thus has been the worst takeaway I've had my entire life. Don't waste your money here. Go to home curries in branston instead there food is delicious I only tried mirchi cause branston was closed Tuesday, and we really fancy some IndianFood: 1/5
Anniversary meal, read reviews before we arrived so was expecting a nice meal with friends. Waited just short of 2 hrs for our main course, no starters ordered, when food arrived it was cold, would definitely not recommend. When we came to pay by card, was told they preferred cash, I had to pay part cash/part card. Restaurant had three tables taken, service just shocking.
Quite a nice place for a village restaurant, I would visit again, food was good, although wine list wasn't up to much.Food: 4/5
Huge shout out for last night! Had a Takeaway for 10 people and it was absolutely fantastic! Everyone commented on the quality of the meals, would definitely recommend - well done
