This friendly Qualmark 4+ star Family Park is located one hours drive south east of Auckland and 20 minutes from Thames. Love love love this place and have stayed at least 8 times now. Beautiful hot pool and apartments. So relaxing. Lovely people. Sustainable practices. Cannot fault you and just 20 odd minutes from home to a holiday in paradise. Rooms: Clean and well provisioned, great beds. They think of every detail.
The most we have paid for a tent site in our 11 months traveling NZ. But we'll worth it, staff are friendly. The hot pool is fantastic. Facilities are good. Would happily stay againService: 5/5

Taking advantage of their pay 2 nights, stay for 3 ... ends early Dec 2023. Great place to chill out if you are on a budget. Facilities for those not staying in the Chalet or Studio accommodation is very clean & tidy. That includes the toilets, showers, kitchen hot water, toasters, pots & pans, fridges, everything you need plus clean & tidy dining area. Mustn't forget the beautiful hot mineral pool. So many other facilities, check out their website.
Our favourite camp to go to relax with so many fun activities. We have stayed in our caravan, motel and cabin units. All great amenities. The staff and managers are all lovely, helpful and friendly. We love to take our grandchildren as there are so many activities for them in this safe environment for the roam freely. We highly recommend this holiday camp. Excellent
We stayed in the Bunk rooms which were just what we needed. 3x singles and one double. I was surprised to find we had our own fridge and also power points. The facilities were clean and tidy. Showers had great water pressure. Kitchen was very functional however no utensils or cutlery. Lots of plates and frying pans but no bowls so be sure to take what you need. There's lots to do here. A lovely wee forest. The hauraki bike trail out the gate. Lovely hot pool. Trikes. Volley ball. Giant chess etc. Kids had a blast. Grounds are well laid out and I loved seeing that there were camp sites fully fenced for pets. We did need to travel a bit for anything to do but what was there was awesome. The obit complaint I had about the Bunk rooms were that the mattresses were typical school camp style and as an adult I could feel the wooden slats and it wasn't very comfy. Our friends stayed in a studio flat and they had much better beds and a very well set out room too.
Great destination. Well equipped, clean and modern. We love the dog friendly sites too. Amenities always clean and kitchen well equipped. Everything is well appointed too and the bonus is the beautiful hot pool!! Staff are all friendly and the shop is great for all sorts that we’d forgotten! Will def return
Friendly and welcoming staff, amazing facilities! We had a great weekend! Also commend the place on their recycling systems and supporting people living with disability by using their products Will and Able. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to families.

We have stayed here a few times now in the motel units and camping in a dog friendly site . Amazing place for our kids, so much to keep them entertained and so nice to be somewhere where our dogs are welcome. Hot pool is amazing and the facilities are clean and have everything you need . Staff are always friendly and helpful and we always have an awesome time .
