I've ordered cold nuddle and ddukbokki!! It's sooooo good!!!! If u r finding Korean restaurants ! I recommend !!
I was craving for dumplings and fried chicken. I believe they pulled the dumplings from frozen packet we get in market. Tasted alright. Fried chicken was alright too. Not much impressed. I had high expectations after reading the reviews!
Basic decor but great food and service at an excellent price. We'll come back for sure. Highly recommend the sizzling dish and kimchi pancake.Food: 5/5
Hands down the nicest food I have eaten in NZ. My wife and I would consider ourselves foodies, and loved the food here. The food was so fresh and tasty, just like a home cooked korean meal. The Beef Bulgogi and the Fried chicken are to die for! Comes with all the accompaniments you would expect at a korean restaurant and more. Highly recommended to anyone who loves good food.
disappointed cos I like the food here but I ordered takeout and the portion of the dish is 1/3 of what it used to be. i'd rather they increase the price and keep the old portion than keep it the same price and give 1/3 of the old portion.
Tiny Korean restaurant in downtown Hamilton. Didn’t expect much for a Sunday evening meal, but intrigued by the previous posts, decided to sit and try. Honest prices and humbly prepared, the meal was in a decent size for 3 people, we chose a mix of chicken and beef bbq on the table, which along with dumplings it made a pleasing combination. It was clean and well maintained. Didn’t see a toilet for customers most likely due to the its size. Would come back again.
Not the same as Minsokchon on Bryce Street. Not what I would consider high-quality authentic Korean food. The banchan was bland and lacking in variety, including the kimchi, which was soggy in texture and only salty in favor. On top of that, the bimbimbap sauce is insanely sweet, and the stone bowl wasn't hot enough to produce rice crispy. The price is average, but the quality of ingredients is decidedly below average.
I’ve been eating their food since 2006 and I just love it. There were 7 of us and we got Fried pork x 2 with rice, fried chicken with rice, fried beef with rice, fried dumplings x 3, fried eel with rice and a Kim che soup. Beautiful all of it. Came up to $120. So worth it and everyone was so full.
The fried chicken boneless thigh is incredible.
Been awhile since I was last here. Enjoyed the meal. Portions are smaller than I remember. Update: and the portions are smaller again although they've upped their priceFood: 4/5
