Story

Welcome to Mini Me Vintage!

Step back into time when stay at home mothers sewed clothing for their families. When it was fashionable to dress Mothers and daughters in similar (if not identical!) dresses. I am able to bring this romantic nostalgia into our modern world - I am a stay at home Mum who loves to sew, especially vintage inspired dresses for our gorgeous daughters! I have drafted my own patterns and searched high and low for vintage fabrics, purchasing modern fabrics when my searches prove fruitless (or would that be fabric-less....?). Each dress is unique as the lengths of fabric I purchase are lengths cut in a by-gone time, ready for each Mother to sew for their child or themselves and have never completed their project (I am BIG on recycle, reuse).

I also offer the service of sewing garments using my patterns and the fabric you have at home – so PLEASE raid Mum’s/Nana’s/Great Nana’s fabric stash or head to the fabric store you saw that beautiful fabric and purchase it now!
