We needed to grab a bite between activities and we stopped here. It was amazing and original Indian food!!! They have an affordable menu, we ordered lentils and curry lamb. It includes drinks and bread. The place it’s not fancy but the food is really good!!!!!!!!!! Perfect for a pit stop.
Great food and friendly staff! They were patient with my friends and me as we debated what to order. They were very accommodating and allowed us to take pictures of them preparing our food. We loved seeing the naan highly recommend the garlic naan!! being made in their clay oven. We also highly recommend the Rogan Josh - the lamb was SO tender and delicious!
We have had takeout here multiple times over the last few years whenever we pass through Te Kuiti I live in Auckland Every time we get it, it is delicious. This past weekend I ordered the Lamb Madras, the lamb was so tender it melted in my mouth. The onion bhaji and samosas were also flavoursome. The curries always have a nice flavour and consistency. I travel a lot and get many curries and I would rate this place as one of the top Indian restaurants.
Awesome food! Very Friendly staff and helpful too. Was really hot in the building but they put the fan on for us. Will certainly be stopping in there again when passing through!

Great flavors and prices after a drive up from Taupo to Waitomo! We loved the samosas and vegetable korma dinner combo -- many thanks from two weary Indian travellers! Vegetarian options: Plenty vegetarian options!
Try Mini India takeaways tonight first time. Ordered 2 children butter chicken meals and naan bread. Delicious and fulling. A must go for a meal.
Shop was very dirty saw 3 baby cockroaches, Currys weren't nice at all.
