It's fun, and such a wide range of very friendly birds and animals. Would definitely come here again. Nice private camping area as well with all the facilities you need.
This place is absolutely magical... I can not speak more highly of the owners and their pure love and admiration for their beautiful creatures. You will never meet more invested parents, the animals really are their babies! Such kind, welcoming, beautiful people and because of this we can't help but keep coming back for visits. Well loved and looked after animals and it shows. Food can be bought to interact with the many gorgeous animals and their personalities are to die for... my favourite girl is LaLa the Corella bird. My 10 year old is in heaven each time we arrive, she never wants to leave! Thank you both for such a memorable experience every time. Awesome people, amazing animals!!
Such an amazing experience to do if ever around the areathere was so much to see and do so worth your time!!! Me and my partner took our time and the service was great from the manager of this place The animals were so beautiful and taken well care of I couldn't have asked for anything more cannot wait to bring the kids heresuch a adventurous environment cannot wait to come back
absolutely amazing birds and animals the owners kept here. didn't know there's a campground as well. highly recommended. there's a few kms of gravel roads to drive to get here.
Awesome place. Kid's loved it. Looks a little rundown - guessing covid has had an impact. Worth your time and energy though. The birdlife was amazing.
Its ok. Been a few times in the past few years which were way better unfortunately. Place looked tired but understandably they might not have much of a cash flow due to covid in recent times
If u are traveling with kids this is one place u don’t want to miss. It’s wonderful wonderful place where u easily ends up spending 3/4 hours. This huge place is managed by a couple and they are delight to talk to. They have a good collection of birds and animals. Their little train ride is definitely what kids want. We did three rides there. They have small sitting near play area where u can have ur own snacks. U get to feed the animals as well. definitely worth the money
Lovely and friendly staff and an amazing experience. The bird park was amazing. We came across several different species of bird including peacocks. We also had the opportunity to feed and pet rabbits, ponies, lamas and several other animals. Would highly recommend to visit. A hidden gem! 100% recommend for camping. Facilities are clean and tidy, only a 15 minute drive to whitianga town, no tourist noise and heaps for kids to do.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
