Didn't stay but we were there for The Great Kiwi Summer Festival. nIt was great seeing the activities and a wide range of tents.nnArmistice was also happening, and it was amazing. We're definitely thinking of camping here next year and seeing 2 days of the events.
Very nice place, but this is NOT a freedom camp, even if it shows up in Google looking for freedom camping and there are some reviews saying it is free.nFollowing these indications we accidentally parked at night at somebody's place and in the morning the management was very understanding with the situation, even helping us planning our trip for the following days! Thank you very much!
