The Mid Canterbury Dog Training Club is a family friendly club that offers dog training in Obedience, Rally-O and Agility for all levels of enjoyment and competition. We also provide Domestic Obedience classes for people who want a well-mannered and obedient dog.

The club trains at the Ashburton A&P Showgrounds on Brucefield Ave, Ashburton. The club is fortunate to have people who have been competing for several years as it relies on their knowledge and experience in the instruction of classes. The club hosts championship events each year and a ribbon trial for agility, obedience, & rally-o. Domestic Classes are held on a Tuesday & Agility Classes are held on a Wednesday.

Domestic Class
​This is a 6 week course, teaching basic training e.g. sit, stay, walking on lead, and essential socialisation. The aim is to have an obedient family pet you can be proud of. It is an opportunity for dogs to learn how to socialise with other dogs,and for owners to feel comfortable with their dog in this situation.
