Stumbled upon this place during a trip to Austin and I’m so glad that I did! This is a great shop with a variety of goods that range from homey to eclectic. I picked up a quirky handmade ornament and I absolutely love it! The staff was really kind and helpful.
This store is great, and Clay provided an incredible customer service experience. He was kind enough to text me photos, pricing, measurements and details to help me make a decision on longhorns from afar. SO helpful! He went above and beyond with helping us out - thank you so much, Clay!
When visiting from Dallas, we always stop in to Mi Casa Gallery for some fun gifts! On our recent trip, Phila & Rob we’re a complete delight to talk with while shopping! The staff here is always welcoming & the selection of Austin merch is extensive. A wonderful mainstay of SoCo that we never miss!
I worked here for about a month and a half. If you truly value indigenous culture you wouldn’t shop here. I was fired for “not being the right fit”, but that makes no sense. Seeing as I am literally an indigenous Mexican woman…Not only that but the owners wife fired me in front of customers during a busy day. These people are culture vultures just in it for the profit. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! BUY DIRECTLY FROM THE INDIGENOUS ARTISTS!!!!
Cool store, but this was listed at 35.00, but the gen from north Texas switch the the price tag and changed me 55. Don’t think that I did not see that young man. Lol

I have always loved this shop. Their style and prices are amazing and affordable. I visited recently and was blown away at the customer service I received from a nice worker named Philadelphia. She went above and beyond to make sure we not only got what we needed, but they also made sure that we got the information we were looking for shipping for some other breakable items we’ve been wanting to get but couldn’t carry with us on our flight. This place and this human are absolute gems of Austin.
We loved everything about this shop! We even went twice on our trip! It's very unique and the staff are fantastic. Super friendly. Would most definitely return!!
Amazing Hispanic artwork, pieces, bags, etc.. there's so many unique items and the guy at the counter was really cool. If you want a little bit of Austin and Hispanic culture this is the place to go.
It was very strange to me how this store sells Hispanic art and things related to the culture, but every single person working there is white??? I mean it's expected in Austin, but this store seemed worse than others. Not only was the staff not welcoming whatsoever, but I also overheard a white manager FIRING the ONLY brown worker there because she apparently "wasn't a good fit" and this REEKED of colorism to me. The situation was handled VERY unprofessionally, as that conversation should have been held in private and not so loudly that all customers on the floor could hear how badly this store doesn't want brown people working for them. My heart goes out to the girl who was disrespected and embarrassed like that. As for Mi Casa Gallery, I would never recommend this place to ANYONE.
