We have visited the Museum many times in the last 3 years with our grandchildren, now nearly 6 & 8 respectively. On a rainy day today we visited again and the upgrades and additional exhibits are fantastic. This Museum is an absolute jewel that holds fascination for all ages. Well worth a visit. Very informative and interesting.
An excellent representation of Whitianga's history. Thoroughly impressed with the quality of information and amazing displays. And so much more than expected! The museum is a real credit to the workers behind the scenes. Thank you for your passion.
Great displays on the local history and environment. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Overall, pretty good for a small-town museum.
What a fantastic place. Make sure you have plenty of time to see the local history; from Cook's arrival, local historical personalities and the flora and fauna of the area. Great displays of kauri/gum harvesting and farming displays.
Really interesting, well thought out with lots of content. Based in the town's old dairy.
