Our trading hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10.00am-5.00pm and Sunday by appointment only.

Story

Memory Lane Gallery & Tattoo Studio specialises in High Quality and Professional Tattooing, our artists cover a vast range of styles from realism to mandala, maori fine arts and everything in between. Director Earnest “Tawck” Bradley is internationally recognised for his realism tattooing and graffiti artwork.

Memory Lane specialises in Graffiti Art and are Northland’s exclusive supplier of Montana Cans Paint. Tawck has painted numerous murals across the globe in a professional capacity and is constantly looking for opportunities to portray true graffiti art in a professional capacity to help positively influence the public perception of graffiti artists. If you are after a mural painting then drop into our Studio and talk to Earnest.

Our new studio also contains an Art Gallery at the forefront where we showcase unique artwork and host Professional Art Exhibitions.

Memory Lane is passionate about embracing all the different styles that represent modern creative art.

I got a cover up tattoo here and I am more than satisfied with the result! Many other studios told me before that a cover up for my old tattoo would not be possible, at Memory Lane Tattoo Studio they just needed a picture, some ideas what I want as a cover up and they came up with a beautiful design. The result is even better than I expected, the Lady unfortunately do not know her name is very very talented!! It needs a lot of trust to get a tattoo and I can say, that you can 100 percent trust her skills! !!Services: Tattoo cover-ups & reworkings
Nice place to get a great tattoo. Owners are friendly, professional and accomodating, giving lots of ideas to make sure you get what you want. Artwork and workmanship is perfect, highly recommend. If you want to get a tattoo and do not have any idea, here is a place for you. Prices is reasonable too, definitely will be going there for more!
I am a very satisfied customer who has had a great deal of work done by Apple Qu at memory lane tattooists...this woman is an absolute wizard at tattooing and has a real eye for detail , she done a full chest piece on me which she designed herself to help cover up an existing piece I already had , this was a total success and I can't praise her artwork and professionalism enough , between her and her husband Edward they came up with and designed exactly what I asked for in my chest piece , half sleeve , hand and knuckles . I'm glad I do not take vicious and defamatory reviews seriously as there was one in particular that I read before my first visit which to me ....after seeing and dealing with memory lane myself , can only surmise that it was total nonsense and fabricated lies . They were very accommodating with working around my availability to attend due to long working days and even stayed open for me a couple of times ...I am used to getting my tattoos done in a high profile tattoo parlour in Scotland , but after attending memory lane , this will always be my place to come for 1st class professional art work every time I'm here on business . As for the reviews complaining about being expensive ? I think for the standard of artwork you receive from Apple Qu that the pricing was very reasonable as it's always first class and very detailed . So to me as with everything in life ...you get what you pay for and remember, ink is for life so it's worth every penny to have a true artist do your ink for you and to me , I honestly won't be going to any one else for tattoos from now on . If you want a top class tattoo then memory lane is the place for you. Thanks to both Edward and Apple Qu for they're welcoming and professional manner. I couldnt be happier with my ink guys and hope to see you again very soon .
Great experience. Clean shop, they were able to get me in on a short notice for a mid-size forearm Merlion. Good execution, I'll be back when I'm in Singapore later this month. I'll add photos later.
got my nose pierced here and the staff were really helpful with placement, aftercare and any questions asked. also didn't overcharge like other studios do :-
Don`t go there!!! Super expensive and poor work. Also not really friendly. Paying 4000$ for tattoo removal now, cause the tattoo made by memory lane looks like a massacre. Poorly done work. Outcome not at all as agreed and discussed beforehand. And they were not even willing to support afterwords in getting the mess fixed.
Awesomeness, clean and cool, had a pearcing and was done with great attention to cleanliness and precision.
