Nice large park and surrounding activities available.ride on model trains operating on sunday only.there is a mini golf near the station building.public toilets.playground lots of parking.located very close to tauranga city centre.
Great fun for the little ones , with Memorial park next to it boasting a huge play ground and recreational area and beach .
The crossing signals aren't quite right at one of your crossings Well the crossbucks and the lights are alright but the rest of the equipment is wrong 1 the lights bells and gates are all mounted on the same pole not next to the lights and bells are WC Hayes/ safetran EBell but the bell should ring the whole time the crossing is actervated and the gates should be red and white not black and yellow . This crossing gets a 3/10 it just doesn't look realistic I know this is a ride for the public but it just does not look like the real thing but the rest if the ride is great

A great experience and a lot of fun. The staff are happy and friendly and have a good report with the kids and adults alike. They don't at all mind discussing their locomotives with you. Their trains are absolute masterpieces and the rail is well maintained in beautifully kept grounds. Well worth a visit. A real asset to Tauranga. Highly recommended.

This is a super popular Mini Railway ride that is fun for the whole family! The fantastic track configuration has not one but TWO TRAINS running at the same time! What a wonderful asset for the city. It runs only on a day or two each week but is well - patronised when it's sunny. There is a good team of volunteers that keep this toy train operating.
Amazing playground and everything you need to keep the kids busy, skating rink there is a minigolf next to eat which was really fun
Fun ride for the kids. The price is worth it
