Story

Hi Im Mel....Welcome to my Facebook page....I am very passionate about massage and all you can achieve through massage therapy.I love that through massage you can have such a positive and immediate impact in helping people.I was lucky enough to have studied at The Canterbury college of natural medicine (CCNM) here in the lovely Christchurch and did return back several times since Graduatindg with a Diploma in Massage Therapy in 2004 and then a Diploma in Reflexology in 2009, A certificate in life and healing studies,several papers studied in Nutrition. I am now a Qualified Reiki Practioner throw in a course in Indian Head Massge, Massage for Dogs, Cooking for Health & Creating an edible garden.

My love affair with massage started in my early 20s,I had major back issues and after getting sick of being told over and over to take medication to help with pain, I decided to look around for a different approach to help manage my back and hip issues. I decided to get a massage...Best thing I ever did...and so began my love affair with Massage therapy and all it's healing attributes.

My approach to massage has always been the same this is your time,your hour, this time is about you and only you,weather you come to see me for pain management, relief from headaches and migraines,helping to deal with RSI and OOS symptoms,or to help you perform better as an athlete and to help recover and restore your body after events,or if it's to relax, de-stress and unwind or to help you manage the aches and pains that can accompany Pregnancy. I was lucky enough to have found a wonderful Massage therapist that helped and educated me,who taught be about stretching, heat and other ways to manage pain and discomfort, who genuinely cared,encouraged my journey back to better health.

I hope that I am able to share my knowledge and passion for massage with you, I hope that I can educate and work with you toward better health and well being!!!! I look forward to hearing fro you soon.
