Staff was by far the friendliest I have met. We even had a chat. I enjoyed their food. It was however exactly the same as every other fish and chips place in Christchurch. Unfortunately we have not found one that stands out. They all use the same batter and same fish so it's all the same.

Weve had fish with half serve chips aand vegetable chow mein. Was very tasty! Very friendly service as well. Good price. Vege chow mein 11$ fish 2.50 chips 2.50 half serve 1.50. Good amount of fish and not like in many places thicker batter then fish. Crispy chips. Thanks

This is my favorite fish and chips store. Yummy and affordable and just a few walks away from the campus. Highly recommended!

I walked in as they take pride in their business. Lovely flowers on the table and nice family feel. I have not been able to eat many chips for years as I have a sensitive stomach. First time in years I've had chips and not felt sick. Their fish was real too. When you remove the batter you can see the segments and tasted so fresh! Love the name as googled it. Next time I'm in Dunedin I will be sure to visit! Thank you!

Batter on the fish was thicker than the fish and the chips where warm ups waste of money.Food: 2/5

Still has the same great tasteful & nostalgic memories from 30 years ago.

Great curry rice rolls and wedges but their actual fish and chips are well below average. Recommend going for the wedges instead! Often quite busy but still friendly and have a short wait time... maybe they should take a little longer hah.

Great selection available. I really like the crumbed fish, Onion rings and the chrisp hash browns.Food: 5/5
