A Jewel in Howick. Delicious food with excellent service! What a great find! It was a very quiet evening and we were not sure to begin with but it turned out to be lovely. We later found out that it was their first week as new owners! Hope more people find this place and love it as much as we did!
I have been always a fan of indian restaurant and i love all the spices it has to offer! Oh well, this is a first time to eat here since it was a venue for a friend's 1st birthday. It was a great place to be! Friendly staff, food was authentic and has all the checks on my list! Would be happy to come back. Their mango ice cream and goat curry was a hit!
Everything about this restaurant was great. The place was clean and smelled good. The staff and greeter was very nice. Our server was awesome, the staff also worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food. The food was fresh and awesome. Was too full to try any dessert but next time. Highly recommend Paneer lababdaar ,
The food wasn’t tasty at all I order 2x chicken biryani. It was just flat no love was given to the food no flavor as far a I know biryani is full of flavor and spices. I have order with them before which very yummy but I know what to the chef today everything was lacking and slacking I didn’t even order during rush hour I will not recommend to buy biryani
Had a nice tasty good value lunch at Mehmaan, service nice and friendly. We had goat curry and chicken tikka masala all items nicely presented, a free softdrink was offered. We will be going back again and can recommend this place.Recommended dishesButter Naan
went there today for a coffee, but end up dinning, food was awesome great service from the manager was on duty, will definitely bring the kids next time.
Very filling cuisine with a wide range of options to choose from. Well organized and welcoming staff with fast service. Great food presentation and a very clean environment.. M U S T try Bolliwood's Bhindi do payaza as well as their Bolliwood special!.. Bolliwood is definitely on my highly recommended list.
Authentic Indian food. Was made as per our taste and as we requested. Although Laccha Paratha wasn't flakey or cripsy as they supposed to be. It was bland and felt like eating raw dough. Apart from that, service was quite well and fast. Promising place. Will definitely visit again with friends.
Wonderful food and great service. What more can you ask? This is one of my favourite Indian Restaurants in New Zealand.
The food and service were excellent with all the delicious meals for our group of 25+ people coming out within a few minutes of each other. They do need to improve their booking system though. I booked in person 2 weeks before our dinner event. Wisely I went in to confirm numbers the evening before only to discover they had no record of my booking. This isn't the first time this has happened either. All's well that ends well though and our large group had a very enjoyable evening. We'll be back.
