I first tried Meet Fresh in Sydney, so I already had high expectations—and they definitely did not disappoint!nnOn a chilly and windy day, we decided to stop by for dessert after lunch nearby. I was initially looking for something warm to help fight off the cold, but the restaurant itself was pleasantly warm and inviting. When the MangoBerry Shaved Ice Bingsu caught our eye, an icy dessert suddenly seemed like the perfect choice!nnThe combination of sweet mango and tangy berries was refreshing and well-balanced, making every bite enjoyable.nnWe also ordered the Ube Purple Rice Ice Cream, which was another winner. The flavours and textures complemented each other beautifully, creating a dessert that was both comforting and delicious.nnEverything we tried was satisfying, and I’m already looking forward to coming back to explore more of their menu. Highly recommended for anyone with a sweet tooth!
Love the newly renovated space — it feels fresh and inviting! A lot brighter than before. The customer service was warm and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. The desserts were absolutely enjoyable, especially the icy grass jelly signature and the mango berry shaved ice — both are a must-try. Highly recommend if you're looking for a sweet treat! Really busy for a Tuesday night and staff were struggling to keep up with the orders. It took 30mins for 3 tapioca puddings to be made and they forgot our Bingsu order so we had to re-order which took another 20mins. Bingsu had barely any toppings and when we asked for more they had us pay for it. Tables weren’t being cleared and uber drivers were coming back saying they were missing/had the wrong items. Wouldn’t come back to this location.
Ordered 2 items on the menu which is Taro Shaved Ice & Tofu Pudding with Mini taro balls. The food is delicious however the service was such a disappointment. I waited 45 mins for it to be ready and the store is not even busy. Also looks like the staff need more training because the guy that was working there was taking his sweet time making the dessert. Overall I’m satisfied with the food however not so much with the service and wait time.
Came in on a Friday night, ordered brown sugar shaved ice and received the item. As soon as we received the shaved ice my group thought it was shaved odd, like the letter “n”, while it usually is shaped like an upside down letter “v”, a lot more natural looking.nnWe were given paper spoons which is fine, but the problem was that we couldn’t eat it comfortably with the spoons we were given because the ice was so packed down. I looked over the counter to see one of the staff packing the shaved ice in with a knife to make it shaped as it was, instead of letting it form shape naturally and so it remains soft.nnI first asked for a metal spoon at which point I had gotten a bit of an attitude for not wanting to eat with a paper spoon, which was fine.nnWe still couldn’t eat it and found it really hard to eat it as it felt like we were just chewing on ice. Asked for them to remake it without packing it.nnIdk if it was the manager but the person I talked to same as the spoon guy gave me attitude for wanting it remade and said something along the lines of “it’s shaved ice what do you expect. I talked back mentioning I’ve been to several other branches and it’s never been this bad at which he finally decided to change it for us.nnLater on, another staff came to talk to us about the situation and why they pack the ice, but my mood was already sour from the attitude the first staff member gave me at two separate times.nnService: BADnAttitude: BADnFood: same as other branchesnAtmosphere and noise: loud but expected on a Friday nightnnWould I come again?nHell to the no.nnVideo: first shaved icenPhoto: second replacement snowflake ice which is not well presented either
