Decent ribs, nice atmosphere. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Food was a little hit and miss. Escargot was a little under-seasoned and let down by the budget sliced bread it was served with. Chicken wings came with a decent blue cheese sauce but had a rather strange flavoured bright orange tomatoey marinade... Wasn't a fan. Came on a Friday night and the place was pretty much empty. Will be back to try their daily specials - those look like good value.

Service was great but the meals are way below our expectation. Thought ordering 'meat' would be a good choice for this restaurant. We ordered 2 x sirloin steaks but none of them comes with the side sauces. A plain piece of meat, fries and side salad was just dumped on one plate, doesn't even make an effort to make it look presentable. We had to ask the man behind the bar to get tomato sauce for the fries. On the other side, my son was quite happy with his kid's burger.
It was quite quiet on a Tuesday evening but had quite a few patrons by the time we left. Lovely atmosphere with a very comfortable outside eating area. Great steak, good ribs and good chicken. Fries were really good and chunky, just the right amount to go well with the steak. I found the chicken just a tad bland but the peri peri sauce lifted the flavour. We had a grabone deal with the two mains and drinks, and ordered a starter and entree. Overall good value for money. Then service was great, very friendly and very attentive without being annoying.
We bought a voucher via grabone. It includes two mains and two glasses of wine for $49. We had sirloin and rump steak. However, both of them were overcooked and burnt on skin. It didn't taste good.Moreover, it left bitter tasture afterwards. We got charged $6 for two sauces but the staff didn't tell us that we need to pay for it. Overall, the staff is friendly but food is under expectation.
Delicious steak burger! Dressing on the side salad very strong. Overall good value for money.
Sunday evening, decidedly average at best. I could not in good faith recommend this place. Came here based on previous reviews, something has obviously changed.
Service was not that great, we waited for some time, but the food when it arrived was delicious. I would highly recommend the $10 chicken wings
Great food, great service, great staff - too bad we found this gem at our last night in Auckland. But we are coming back for sure!
