The gentleman serving and managing the staff at 12:30pm today was AMAZING. He was constantly boosting and pumping up his staff. He had the most amazing customer service skills. He was kind, complimentary and thoughtful with every single customer he served as an individual. Down to letting customers know their chips would be extra hot as had just been cooked and not to burn their mouths on them. So friendly and kind. An amazing person.
Had a really bad experience, came in New Year’s Day, props to the staff working, because no one wants to work newyears so good on them for coming, unfortunately the attitude on the manager was really bad. The machines were not printing or showing numbers, so no one knew what number they were, and the staff were being rude to customers faces that they didn’t know what number they were. We tried to let them know that the machine wasn’t working and we were met with disgusting attitude. Behind the counter the staff were talking loudly about how bad the customers were etc. i understand it sucks working Jan 1st, so again, good on them, but you can still have even the tiniest bit of customer service and not act the way they did. :
It was great to call in and grab a meal after a long week of work in Auckland and transiting to Whangarei.nThe environment was buzzing with high morale.nAll the young staff were working collectively and were singing. The manager sure had these guys humming.nThey were polite. Respectful and the meal delivery was prompt.nTotally loved the atmosphere
Absolutely terrible service, went on the 1st of Jan 2025. Front of house staff were blatantly rude to customers. The staff were openly discussing about eating the customers food if they weren’t picked up within 5 minutes despite the kiosk not printing numbers which meant the customers didn’t know what order number they had.nnOverall horrible experience and could see on other customers faces they thought the same
Not impressed. Chips were cold. Threw them out. Service is shocking. Mc cafe crew could smile. Staff having inappropriate conversations directly infront on customers. Tables were grubby. Where are the cleaners?? Toilets were gross to say the least. Sometimes there is inapporopriate music playing in the kitchen area. Meant to be family friendly!! Kiosks need to be wiped down regularly to avoid spreading bugs.nReally sorry to have to post this but improvements need to be made. And being local i think we can do better to get a better image.
