We went to the MC drive. At the ordering point we noted a defect front screen to display the menu. We explained the staff while trying to order without the menu. After being misunderstood we mentioned the missing menu again. In response we were asked to drive through as the staff member told us she would show the menu over there. When we were at the paying desk she mentioned it was finally clear to her we didn’t had the menu earlier and told us to go back to the ordering desk + to que again as she could not display the menu at the paying desk. We payed and picked up the breakfast items we already ordered and had to que again all the way back after the last car in line. After queuing for the second time around 15 minutes we wanted to continue ordering again, but the screen was still not working. Besides, in the meantime we discovered something went wrong with the first order as we were missing an item. We addressed those points. After some time the lady came out of her desk to notice the blank screen. And yes she finally understood and/ or believed us. The screen was fixed by simply turning it on. Although the full menu was never displayed on the fixed screen, we continued with our 2nd or actually same order. But instead of continuing with the lady someone else interfered we learned afterwards it was the manager. He directed us to stop the order and come to the last desk. We kindly requested to proceed as this was asked before and resulted for us in queuing again. On top of this, in continuation, he mentioned we could not order any more items of the breakfast menu as in the meantime during our second queuing time they closed the breakfast ordering. Eventually we just dropped the order and drove all the way through, we parked the car at the parking lot and went inside to file an official complaint. Instead of filing a written complaint, to provide any compensation, or to undertake any other action which would give us the feeling to be taken seriously, the manager wanted to go over the minor details. It was all too much, so we left with half an order being incomplete. The Manager did say sorry, but that’s it. All together we left hungry & traumatised.
We ordered 3 egg muffins, she ordered only 2, told us to queue again if we want one more, which we did but surprise, while getting to the desk again they closed the breakfast orders so they refused to give us the 3rd egg which was so bad that was actually funny. The lady kept on refusing until she passed without any notice to a man with strong accent, we could barely understand what he was saying, we did understand it’s time to leave : coffee without sugar, milkshakes without straws, still water instead of sparkling, poor service, never took the time to write a review but hopefully they will try a bit next time…nAnd the screens were not working. How am I supposed to know what to order coming from another country?!? And while mentioning it, lady was not taking us seriously, she just told us to queue again.
Worst McDonald’s Experience Ever in ThamesnI’ve had consistently bad experiences at Thames McDonald’s. The food is often cold, poorly made, and sometimes missing items like incomplete burgers. It feels like the staff don’t care about customers at all.nnThe customer service is terrible. I believe one of the female supervisors, who wears dark clothing was especially rude. Instead of being welcoming, she spoke to me in a very harsh and disrespectful way. No smile, no basic courtesy just a bad attitude.nnSadly, this isn’t the first time this has happened. Cold food, rude staff, and unprofessional behavior seem to be normal here. Easily the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever visited. 0 star
Dined in. Waited 15mins for 2 happy meals, place was not overly busy just seemed drive thru tok priority and then didn't even get the minecraft toys advertised. Fries were cold and nuggets had black bits on them dirty deep frier oil? Was disappointing.
12 months ago, I didn't think much of the service and my food.nStaff were standing around talking and using their phones and my big Mac looked like it had been dropped .nNow it appears there are a couple of Phillipinos running things, and service was efficient and fast, and staff preparing the food were all working as a team.nWell done, Maccas Thames keep up the good work.
