Stopped in here for lunch on our way to Wellington and it was a delightful experience. Despite a busy drive thru, the service was quick and friendly, the restaurant was super clean and tidy, and the atmosphere calm and pleasant. Probably one of the best road trip dining experiences I've had! The food was fresh and exactly as expected.Food: 5/5
So far the worst customer service I’ve seen in a McDonald’s in NZ and Australia. Ordered a coffee in one of the self ordering machines and after a few minutes a lady slid a cup of coffee across the bench while walking away and mumbling “here you go”. The cup’s lid was deformed, coffee dripping on the outside of the cup, when I tried to draw the persons attention about the missing whipped cream I had ordered she glanced at me and I was simply ignored. Decided it was not worth it and just walked away. And definitely the hazelnut syrup and extra shot added in the order were not in the cup either.
On our way from Palmerston North, this was quite a strategic place for us to have lunch. It is quite challenging to find a car park. You have to drive up behind McDonald's to see if there is a space available. Service was prompt but chips were not salted. This ruined some of the good experiences we were hoping for. The place was clean and tidy. The toilets were clean too. To find a park took a long time. But with a full belly, we drive off.
The place is cleanish... But the staff are very unhappy, not customer friendly and can hardly communicate. I now you can have a bad time... But seeing all the personal with the same sad grin on there face just makes you feel unwanted. They proudly hang a employee of the month at the counter, but seeing there attitude both to the customer as in-kitchen were I spotted numerous rulebreaks it doesn't feel like a big accomplishment. The food we had could be worse, but just like many other McDonalds you can expect a not wel dressed burger and find your cheese in the box next to the side of your burger. These place really needs committed management to show the importance and proud of work as well as customer relationship.
Love every single menu here! You can either order at the counter or the vending machine and pay by credit. The staff serve customers nicely and friendly. Always with a beautiful smiles. Burgers, fries, hashbrown, cappuccino, cocoa - totally amazing! They're all to die for. Place is spacious. While we are there, the TV keeps playing most of my favorite songs - it made me couldn't step out of this Mc's -- Awesome!
Very good MC donalds, clean table, bin empty, clean toiletts. Very friendly staff. Good Job. Other mc donalds can come here to see a clean store with good staff.Food: 5/5
Friendly staff. Good place to stop over and eat lunch before heading to Forgotten World Highway.
Can only comment on the drive thru, but have been through here many times over the years when traveling through. Excellent service and food has never been wrong, missed out or yuk. Always great quality! Parking: Not many parks at the back and a tight squeeze. Could always park on the road and walk though.
nice burger...shame the frosty was half full for the large..big hole in the middle with no ice cream..small one was three quarters full..
Lots of oil in Fries...when asked Lady said they came out fresh thats why oily. Asked for no ice sprite.. they served with ice. They forgot to put toy in my son's happy meal. Overall, lots of mistakes in one order,,, which is why I am unhappy. I found ignorance in customer service.
