I’m over the grumpy staff every time we come here. I have never seen any of the team smile. They clearly don’t like to help each other. They dump your order on the bench and call your number then rush off. They don’t acknowledge you’re still standing there because there is always something wrong! Twice in the past month we have sat and waited and waited for our order, once the numbers climb well past my number, I asked the staff and it turned out that the order was removed from the screen without being filled. One of these times the McFlurry had been made and was sitting on the counter for a good 10 minutes, with customers and staff talking over it. The staff member then tried to give it to us when they found the order had been wiped off the screen, then got snotty when we asked for a new one because people had talked over it, but also, you could see it was well into the melting stage as it had been sitting for so long. Just one example of the shambles that is McDonald’s Papamoa. Management need to step in - and also step up. Lead by example!
Line was massively long, the team is quick, efficient and respectful, chips were fresh and my order was exactly as I asked.
Ice-cream and caramel sauce both tasted like nothing.nChips were overcooked and cold.nMy double McChicken had 1 patty when it should have had 2 and my sons hamburger had half a patty.nAbsolutely shocking. They weren't busy either so it shouldn't have been hard to get the order right.nYoung female at the counter calling out orders was also rude, and couldn't even crack a smile.nWhat a shambles
My big mac tasted AMAZING but it didn’t have sesame seeds … weird!
