Maccas was very quiet when we visited and grabbed a quick bite for dinner. Order came quickly and was fresh and hot. Was very happy with the service. Easy as fast stop. Bathrooms were pretty clean too which is awesome. Parking: Plenty of parking in the car park around maccas. There is also free street parking. Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair accessibility parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance.
I enjoyed the food however the ground was really sticky and didn't like that. The options weren't very good here either. They don't serve frozen drinks which was disappointing. A good place to stop off on a journey and get some food. The service was nice and quick. I would go back if stopping off in Taihape. Food: 5/5
The only thing I can say about this McDonalds is that you can tell it is part of a small town. Food was cold and because we use the self order option, they're very quiet when calling out the order numbers. Also their display monitor with order numbers wasn't working so it was hard to know when orders were up. Staff seemed to be walking around the back a little confused. Someone had their head in one of the machines that looked broken...
Ok if you like black hair in your fries and one pickle in your burger all in all the staff, it was plain to see they do not enjoy thier job. No eat in option so can not even use the toilets.
I'm not really sure how to feel about our experience- 1pm on Sunday. Queues and queues of people. 2 out of 4 self service kiosks working. Tables full of rubbish. Floor covered in grime. Staff flat out in the kitchen, and discussing about how they need breaks. Got our food and then was told that they're closing the restaurant and it will be drive through only, we will need to leave politely. I'm not sure if the staff issue is because there aren't enough staff hired or not enough staff available to hire. Just kind of wierd on a state highway to be closing the restaurant midday on a weekend. Kids liked their happy meals
While it's a relatively clean and modern, staff were all good but the Big Mac meal wasn't great, I feel bit queezy after having it.Food: 1/5
Weird, they wouldn't let us in at about 2pm on a Friday, drive through only, and we totally needed the dunny. They did let us use the Loo but had to go out to order. Other than that, very predictable/dependable maccas.Food: 4/5
Sadly when we arrived to find the front shop closed thinking we could not get a meal a ex staff member gave us a lift through the drive through to make our day . The burgers where awesome and very well proportioned . Thankyou to your ex staff member too
Couldn't fault the place if I tried. Good service, standard burgers, hot fries and the place was clean.Food: 5/5
Had the best mighty Angus ever here,plenty of bacon,meat patties were cook to perfection and just the right amount sauces. The staff look very focused,the manager was being very vigilant keeping them on their toes.The communication was very clear and precise. Could of been a few more smiles on the faces of the staff,but it was the lunch rush. I will be definitely getting another Mighty Angus next trip that way.
