MAUNGARAKI COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION
FACEBOOK COMMONSENSE RULES
The Maungaraki Community Association is made up of residents who love Maungaraki and want to make it an even better place to live.
Online there are certain ways to act and certain things to remember when interacting, all of which pretty much boil down to this: We’re neighbours, parents, friends and members from the same community. We should act respectfully. So, when you communicate to others on our Facebook page please remember the following;
BE RESPECTFUL – BE NICE TO PEOPLE, NOT NASTY.
Respect yourself and respect others. It’s important and it’s the only way this thing will work.
BE RESPONSIBLE & REASONABLE – KEEP IT CLEAN.
If you wouldn’t show it or say it to your mother or your children, don’t share it with us. This is an open forum.
BE OPEN TO OTHER VIEW POINTS – CELEBRATE OTHERS VIEWS & LEARN MORE.
Not everyone thinks, acts, or is the same. We are all different and so are you. Let’s be all those things here. It’ll be way more interesting, and way more fun.
EDUCATE YOURSELF & CONNECT WITH OTHERS – THIS FORUM IS FOR YOU.
Use it. Share things, learn stuff, get to know us and each other. That’s the point.
THANK YOU.
We are the Maungaraki Community Association. We are Stronger Together.
Please note: The MCA has zero tolerance for any commentator using profanity or is deemed to be hurtful in any way. All such comments will be deleted immediately. Subsequently, the writer will be permanently banned from our page without exception.
