Very nice place. But by the time we got back from the Hobbiton tour, the gift shop was closed. Bit disappointed but still good fun.
Well laid out CBD and good roading in and out of town.
Well set out. Fun looking place. Polite staff. Excellent extremely clean toilets at the end of the parking area. Great Cafe across the road from the toilets.

One of the best, or if not the best looking i-site building in New Zealand. Uniquely built with a touch of Hobbiton architecture. One who has not been to Hobbiton yet can see a bit of a preview already. Close to restaurants and souvenir shops, it's strategically located.
Great site however the council has made access completely frustrating. With may people unable to negotiate.
Everything you’ll need. Great, helpful staff. Print your tickets for Hobbiton here and wait for the shuttle. The place is surrounded by a small park, where you can sit down for lunch. The architecture reminds of the Hobbit, so you won’t miss it.
