The company was established in 1990 by managing director Steve Parkes, who has built a strong reputation for providing a reliable, expert & cost effective drainage works and solutions.
As specialist drainage contractors, Matakana Contractors prides itself on their ability to provide quality, timely construction, technical & management services based on integrity, flexibility & a person touch that sets it apart from the rest.
To meet increasing demand for high quality services, the company has expanded over the years and currently employs 9 full time experienced staff.
With its culture of ongoing support and training Matakana Contractors enjoys high staff retention and an outstanding health & safety record guaranteeing reliability for clients. Matakana Contractors has an extensive list of successfully competed drainage, water reticulation testing & chlorination work of large diameter pipes for both local authorities and private developers.
These projects range from small sewer/water reticulation for land developments up to larger diameter sewer/water & still water main replacements.
We have achieved a key working relationship with local authorities and main contractors alike. We are regularly consult to provide an expert opinion and offer possible alternatives that assist in cost, design and ease of construction.
