This is a great spot for a coffee and a bite to eat. The coffee is amazing, so much so that I always take some with me when I am overseas for work and often buy a case to keep me going. The breakfast burrito is a favourite and the other menu items I've tried have been amazing!
We love Matakana coffee and have often gone out of our way to go to the market to get a bag of beans and some takeaway coffees. We had high expectations for the cafe and we were super disappointed. The milk was overly foamy and did not taste nice and shot tasted over extracted. Nowhere near the quality you can get at the market.
