Lovely small cinema that often plays good but hard to get to see movies. Good parking and plenty of facilities nearby
This was my first visit to this cinema and i had a great time. Seat's are comfy, the place was clean and the movie/atmosphere Black Panther 2 was awesome. The only think which was missing for me was the traditional smell of cooking popcorn, it's all pre-bagged store purchased stuff. Maybe I'm old school but that popcorn smell always brought back some good memories. In short I will definitely be going back to Matakana Cinemas, to creat some awesome new memories
Old style outside of cinema but modern decorations inside, the chairs are very cozy and definitely can be relaxing to enjoy your movie!
Very nice boutique cinema in Matakana village. We were in this one which had a chandelier inside and super comfy seats. Loved it.
