This is a excellent PAPER PLUS in MASTERTON. Has every BOOK a you could possibly dream of, CARDS, every kind needed for all events, TOYS, CALENDARS, NOTEBOOKS, DAIRIES, even pieces that you might not think they would have, ARTIFICIAL FLOWERS, GARDENING TOOLS, and other gardening items, there are to many to name, but must add, POST SHOP, KIWI BANK, they are kept very busy, could not get nicer staff to assist you when in store, very nice people. I have to add the table and chairs for the kids to play, at the other end l found a lovely comfy orange high back chair where you could sit and read ,with a lamp, fantastic, loved it. This shop never ceases to amaze me. Have to try PAPER PLUS MASTERTON, one of the nicest book, gift, etc. I have ever been too, worth a trip to visit. Thankyou Louise.
I came in over whelmed and tired. I had to send an item to my daughter and wasn't sure how to pack it. To my memory I have never had such helpful, friendly service anywhere like the service I got from the postie side of the shop today. It really made my day. Thank you
I'm in my sixties so I've visited many book stores and Paper Plus shops. This is by far the best. Beautiful displays with so many interesting goodies. The staff were just amazing. Congratulations team.
What a truly great bookshop. Definitely not your usual Paper Plus. I always find an interesting gift when I need one. I hear it's recently been sold so I am really hoping the high standards are maintained.
Shopped here on sunday as part of the Wairarapa bookshop tour event. The staff were so warm and welcoming. I was pleasantly suprised at the wide range of books they had on different topics - the types of titles you expect in boutique stores. I came away with the Gardenista book Ive been keeping an eye out for in Wellington bookshops but never found. Buy books from stores like this people!
I almost always find what I'm looking for here. The staff are friendly and it's so convenient having so many businesses in one shop, the book/stationary store, nz post, kiwibank and lotto!
They really have it down pat, with a little of everything from the banking and books to the post shop, toys, games, electronic great, geegaws and gifts. Weird -- I seem to end up here at least once a week.
Lovely set out shop, lotto, NZ Post and Kiwi Bank anll under one roof. Lots to look at books gifts and very helpful
Today as I walked in, I was watched by a staff member from behind the counter. I saw her looking at me, and looked back twice and she was still watching what I was doing I was in a isle looking for a product After she had finished serving her customer she came over to me and asked if I had "lost something?" I was browsing for some "do it yourself windmills" which I found at another Paper Plus from a different town. She rudely said I'm not sure what you're talking about and I walked away. I felt as if I was being discriminated & profiled as she never approached anyone else while I was in store.
Great bookshop with a bit of local craftware there, huge selection of books and calenders, toys etc. A very good experience in this well laid out store.
